This Site Has Been Taken Down By

Dear Mr Applegate, Thank you for your reply. It is the strict policy of the LEGO Group to not let any third parties own domain names incorporating the LEGO trademark or any other trademark owned by the LEGO Group. This means that we again ask you to transfer the domain name to the LEGO Group. This said, I have been in contact with LEGO regarding your request and if you wish to send them a project proposal, you can do so at: LEGO Juris A/S Att: Dorte Petersen Koldingvej 2 7190 Billund Denmark For the transfer, please unlock the domain name and send me the authorization code and we will facilitate the transfer from here. Please let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely, Stina Pilotti

To: Stina Pilotti Subject: Re: legosolar.com: request to adopt suggested product ian applegate Dec 13 (3 days ago) to Stina Thnks for the info. Are you offering any financial considerations? The brand Is lego. I could take the site down completely. But it would only be fair that you purchased the domain from me. It did cost me to buy it, and i cant be blamed for reserving a domain that was available, especially something obvious like legosolar.com Here are some options, tell me which sounds the best: A. Lego can buy the domain for $1000 US B. i can retain the url but take down the material C. we can wait for a response to the proposal I prefer "c" and plan to send the materials some time this week. I think that's fair. Please indicate which you prefer.

Dear Mr Applegate, Please understand the LEGO Group is working very hard to protect its trademark and any form of commercial use of the trademark, without authorization is potentially damaging to the trademark. As mentioned in the letter, the LEGO Group is prepared to reimburse the registration cost for the domain name. When you registered the domain name you warranted that “to your knowledge, the registration of the domain name will not infringe upon or otherwise violate the rights of any third party”. And this is not the case. If the registration fee was higher than USD 15, please send me a receipt of you expenses and we will review. It would also seem that none of your options below would really be improving your chances of ever cooperating with the LEGO Group. To summarize, we do not accept any of the three options below, but kindly ask you to unlock the domain name and send us the authorization code with immediate effect.

to Stina The trouble with that is that the domain name is now something. I know a fellow who registered nike.com before a certain company registered it, and was payed for the domain in seven figures. Please offer something better."
